Gavaskar, Ganguly condemns spot fixing

 

Veteran cricket players Sunil Gavaskar has expressed shock for the cricketer’s involvement in spot fixing in IPL-6 matches. He expressed anguish over the players for trying easy money despite getting huge amounts through IPL auction. He said those who found guilty should be banned from the cricket. Former Indian team captain Sourabh Ganguly also fumes on the players for indulging in spot fixing scandal. He said they should be banned for life time from cricket if proved guilty. Political parties, which now or then found its leaders indulge in corrupt practices are also makes hue and cry before the media over this issue and demands for stern action against the guilty. Lalit Modi, the mastermind behind the IPL idea, has flayed BCCI for being blind until the police nab the cricketers.

 

The only person, who backed Sreeshanth is union minister Sashi Tharoor. Being from his native Kerala, Shashi said Sreeshanth is a good player, a prestige for Kerala. Whether guilty or not he will emerge after the investigations.
