Although, the Congress party has not opens its mind over division of the state until now, both Telangana and Seemandhra leaders crossing the swords with provocative speeches over probable out come of the Center’s decision.
While leaders like Lagadapati are so sure of the Center’s decision is challenging to quit the politics if the state is separated, their counterparts in Telangana speaks condemning any packages, Telangana without Hyderabad, or sharing capital. Both the sides were so sure of their stand as if they have been regularly updated by the congress high command about the minutes of the core committee meetings.
In a recent statement given by TRS leader Harish rao indicates that Congress is planning for division of the state but wants the Telangana people to share the capital Hyderabad with Seemandhra, for which he opposed.
Congress Minister Sarvey Satyanarayana asserts that the Congress party will take care of the security of the Seemandhra people, their properties and their businesses in Telangana region, when Telangana state is carved soon. Another leader, Nayini Narasimha Reddy has warned the center not to play tricks while carving the Telangana state.
All this leaves an impression that leaders of both sides are trying to pressurize the Center for taking stand in their favor, while revealing their fears about their rivals’ influence on Center’s decision. In other words, all these leaders want to frighten the Center not to take any negative decision on their demand. But, these ideas obviously encourage the Congress party to prolong the issue further and going to complicate.
