Union minister Sarve Satyanarayana is one among the few leaders, who now and then makes odd statements before the media. In his recent visit to Vizag, he said that even minister Ganta Srinivasa rao is also in favor of separate Telangana state. He said, Srinivasa rao would have absconded him, if he really oppose him and favors Samaikyandhra.

 

He makes Srinivasa rao very much embarrassed, who is standing beside him while making this statement. Srinivasa rao, later speaking to media has stated that, he just accompanied the union minister only because he honors him, but it doesn’t mean that he is favoring division of the state. He said he is firm with his Samaikyandhra stand and there is no change in it.

 

Later, during his speech at Telangana Sadhana Sabha held at Hyderabad yesterday, Sarve Satyanarayana described Jana Reddy as the father figure for Telangana agitations in the Congress party, where as many in the party and out side branded him as pure opportunist leader. But, later, Sarve might have realized what is the people’s opinion on Jana Reddy, when some one from the audiences has thrown chappal on him, while giving his speech from the same dais.

 

Then, Sarve reminded that he and some other leaders of the party have compelled their leader Sonia Gandhi to make a favorable announcement on Telangana issue on the eve of her birthday in year 2009 and the same day evening a statement was made as a birthday gift to the people of Telangana. But the party has to put it on hold due to some unpredicted political developments that every one knows about.

 

Sarve should explain, whether the burning Telangana issue that is related to 4.5 crore of people’s sentiments is just a personal matter to take decisions on the eve of anyone’s birthday?
