Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, MLA, ACB Custody, Jail The two days ACB custody of TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah was over on Friday. Hence, ACB officials have presented him before the ACB Court on Friday evening. Later, he was returned to Charlapalli jail. He will be in remand till July 21st. Earlier, when the ACB Court takes his bail petition for hearing, ACB lawyer argued that he would influence the case, if granted bail. So, the court awards him two weeks judicial remand to him.
ACB has made similar arguments in Revanth Reddy’s bail petition case also. But, the High Court and the Supreme Court also rejects its arguments and granted bail to him. Probably, ACB may face similar experience in Sandra Venkata Veeraiah case also.
But, if ACB officials believe that Sandra or Revanth Reddy or whoever accused would influence the case if allowed to roam free, then they could do the same even before their arrest. But, none of them have made any such attempts that would lead to another case. We can notice that Revanth Reddy is strictly following bail conditions after released from jail. He limits his activities to regular politics and nothing beyond.
