AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi's call to Rajya Sabha member from Telangana region Palwai Govardhan Reddy has stirred many a politico in Andhra Pradesh. Speculation about change of guard in state has gained momentum with this sudden invitation to Palwai from Rahul to come to Delhi for discussions on Wednesday. 

Whispers are heard in political circles that change of AP CM along with a clear decision on Telangana is imminent after the presidential elections this month. At a time when PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana is camping in Delhi and one of the loyal congressmen from Telangana gets invitation from Rahul, is a clear indication of changing the chief minister, say seniors in the state Congress. Even sources close to Palwai are hopeful that he would be elevated to head the state in place of Kiran Kumar Reddy. With this the chances of another senior from Telangana, Jana Reddy becoming chief minister have been curtailed forever, say political observers.
