Pakistan argued that India is trying to abscond from peace-talks between two countries taking excuse of terrorism. But, the incidents taking place at Handwara area in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir state right now are strengthening India’s arguments made in the United Nations on cross boarder-terrorism.
Four Indian soldiers were killed on Monday in a fierce gun battle with Jaish-e-Muhammad militants in Haphruda forest in Handwara area in Kupwara district. One militant was killed in a gun battle at Laolab area but rest of them managed to escape.
These militants intrusion into Indian Territory, underlines Pakistan’s role in encouraging terrorists against India. Hence, India argues that peace-talks can’t be held in this back drop of terrorist activities. So, it asks Pakistan to give-up terrorism if it wants to sit for peace talks with India. But, Pakistan blatantly replied that one day or the other day, India has to come for talks with Pakistan. It is like admitting that it doesn’t want to stop or discourage terrorists to go against India.
