The US government, which has been refusing visa to Narendra Modi, revokes its decision and rolls red carpet to him soon after realizing that he is going to become Prime Minister of India. Though, Modi has accepted US government’s invitation, but first he is planning to visit Japan instead of US, because he has strong relations with Japan during his term as Gujarat Chief Minister. Many Japanese Companies have heavily invested in Gujarat state because of his industry-friendly policies. So, it is natural that he prefers to visit Japan first rather than USA, which not even allows him to step on its soil. The main purpose of Modi’s visit may be to invite Japanese companies to spread their business activities all over India. Narendra Modi may visit USA between 26 and 30th September this year.
Takeshi Yagi, the Japanese envoy to India and new national security advisor Ajit Doval have discussed about the propose dates of his visit, in the last week. Japanese foreign minister Fumio Kishida called upon India foreign minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday for the same purpose. According to latest information, Modi may make his first international tour to Japan in the last week of this month or in the first week of July. Modi also has to attend BRICS summit in Brazil, scheduled for July 15. So, he may prefer to club both and begin his first international visit in July 1st week.
