TDP leader Nara Lokesh said that he never think about becoming Chief Minister of the state. Speaking to leading English daily, he said “It never came to discussion either in the family or in the party. Chandrababu Naidu is our leader and I am sure he will rule the state for next ten years. As far Telangana state is concerned, there are many veteran leaders in the party for it. I prefer to work for the party like any loyal worker. I believe myself is a pure Hyderabadi and not an Andhraite or Telanganite. So, I feel equally related to both states. I think TRS party may lose its shine before next general elections. I will strive hard to strengthen our party in Telangana also from grass root level to win the next elections.”
