Telugu desam party suspended leader from Telangana Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday regretted the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu call for party to gear up for midterm elections.

Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, Nagam alleged the TDP chief was making confusing statements despite the Telangana forum members stated that they are not ready to go for elections. He asked Naidu what is the rationale behind calling party cadre to gear up for midterm elections. He demanded Naidu make his stand clear on contesting of by-elections in the event of fall of government. He said the TDP would bite dust if it goes ahead with midterm elections in the Telangana.
