Why Mysoora is Reluctant to Fight Jagan in Kadapa?

Rajya Sabha member from Telugu Desam Party Dr. M V Mysoora Reddy is reluctant to fight Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the ensuing Kadapa Lok Sabha bypoll. He said that he is not keen to contest in the by-polls for the Kadapa Lok Sabha segment from where the former MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, is testing his fortunes. He told this to media persons after an all party meet with the chief election officer.
Leaders of both the parties Congress and Telugu Desam, Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu openly told the CEO that no one could withstand the money power of the MLC candidates backed by Mr Jagan in the recent elections to the Legislative Council. The CEO assured the leaders that EC would take all necessary steps to ensure free and fair bypolls in the State.
Apart from money power and popularity of Jagan Mohan Reddy, it would still be very difficult for Mysoora Reddy to make up his mind in contesting from Kadapa. In the faction ridden politics of Rayalaseema, particularly in Kadapa district, leaders cannot take decisions on major moves without consulting their followers. Violent history prevents them from doing so and Dr. Mysoora Reddy is no exception to it.
Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy left for Kadapa district on Friday evening for a 40 day stay for the duration of bypolls. Before leaving for Kadapa, Mr Jagan held a confidential meeting with some of his supporters to finalise a symbol out of the 53 free symbols updated by the EC recently. Mr Jagan is the national president of "Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress party," popularly known as YSR party. As per the SC directions, the EC has allotted 'Ceiling Fan' symbol to YSR Congress in the Kadapa bypolls. It's likely that the former MP, Y SJagan Mohan Reddy, and his mother smt. Y S Vijayalakshmi, will contest on the 'Ceiling Fan' symbol in the coming Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly bypolls.
