A vivid example of Jaspal Bhatti's satirical take on the social and cultural problem of the country was 'Flop Show'. From chief guests arriving late to fake medical reimbursements, each and every episode had something unique for the audience. Jaspal Bhatti used to act as self in the show along with wife Savita. 'Flop Show' was the beginning of comic and satirical shows on TV. The show soon became a huge hit but only ten episodes were ever broadcasted.

 
 


The pioneer of Doordarshan channel, Jaspal Bhatti's 'Ulta Pulta' was a spoof on the problems faced by the common man in their everyday live. Yet again he striked chords with the masses with his simple yet pinching satire on the corruption in society.

 


 

 

 

Mahul Theek Hai was Jaspal Bhatti's first big screen Punjabi venture which he directed and acted as well. The film was a huge sucecess, both critically and commercially. Jaspal Bhatti tickled everyone's funny bone with his humourist satire on corruption in the Indian Police Force. Jaspal Bhatti had an amazing sense of keeping the storyline simple yet intriguing.

 

 

Punjabi comedy film 'Jija Ji' added another feather to his cap. He teamed up with renowned Punjabi comedians Gurpreet Ghuggi and Jaswinder Bhalla for the movie. The film is about an honest government offical's tiff with his fastidious brother in law.

 

 

 

It was not only satire and humour that he was best at. By participating in season 4 of dance reality show, Jaspal Bhatti with his wife Savita proved that he was no less in shaking a leg.

 

 

Like 'Ulta Pulta', 'Full tension' was a variety show by Jaspal Bhatti interspersed with skits, jokes, anchoring and parodies. A must watch for all Jaspal Bhatti fans featuring the usual gang of 'Ulta-Pulta' idiots Jaspal Bhatti, Savita Bhatti, Vivek Shauq, Brijesh Ahuja and B.N. Sharma amongst others.

 

 


In the early 90s, Jaspal Bhatti directed his tele-film called ‘Shahji Ki Advice’ which was about a consultancy service that offered unusual solutions to everyday problems and extraordinary solutions to unusual problems.

 

 

Jaspal Bhatti made his first big screen appearance in Rishi Kapoor’s directorial debut Aa Ab Laut Chale. He and Kadar Khan made a good comedy duo in the film.

 

 

Jaspal Bhatti starred in another film starring Aishwarya Rai – Kuch Na Kaho. He plays a prominent part in this track ABBG from the film.
