GHMC officials demolished a house in Madhapur area of Hyderabad, belonging to jailed OSD of Rangareddy district Sarveshwar Reddy on Friday. He was booked by the ACB a month ago on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. He is presently lodged in Chanchalguda jail.

Sarveshwar Reddy had built a palatial house in Madhapur area. Reportedly the house doesn't have any construction permission. Though GHMC officials knew it, they didn't venture to touch Sarveshwar Reddy while he was OSD. Since, he is in jail now, the officials took advantage of his absence and demolished the building.
