Jagan Stages Dharna at Pulivendula PS

Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy staged dharna at the Pulivendula police station protesting against beating up of his party activist who had participated in anti-government protests recently. He demanded for the suspension of concerned police officials.
Rahamtulla, a party worker, who participated in a sit-in organised by the YSR Congress party against the government policies was allegedly beaten up by the police. Jagan demanded suspension of circle inspector of police Sankaraiah and sub inspector of police Purushotham Raju for allegedly beating up the party worker. Jagan went to the police station to confront police on the alleged incident. However, he resorted to a sit-in as no senior official was present at the station on Sunday.
