HC Dismisses Jagan Petition: Orders 5 days CBI Custody

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Saturday granted 5 days custody of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to CBI. The court also dismissed Jagan Mohan Reddy's petition contending that his arrest by the CBI was improper.
The court ruled that the CBI is empowered to arrest anyone if required in the course of investigation. It felt that CBI needs further custody of Jagan Mohan Reddy in the case and allowed CBI to to take him into custody till 7 June. The court directed the CBI to interrogate Jagan in the presence of two of his counsels. from 10.30 AM to 5 PM. The CBI has not yet confirmed where Jagan would be interrogated, at Dilkusha guesthouse or at their headquarters in Koti.
