Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy may seek bail today, on Tuesday 29 May 2012. Yesterday CBI special court has sent him to Chanchalguda jail on 14 days judicial remand in a disproportionate assets case.
Earlier the CBI court had rejected his plea for anticipatory bail. Yesterday, Principal Judge of CBI court A Pullaiah also dismissed CBI's application seeking custody of Jagan for further interrogation. According to sources, it is likely that Jagan may again petition today for bail, in view of the upcoming byelections. Since he happens to be the president of a recognised party and bears the responsibility to canvass for his candidates, the court may consider to grant him bail, say the sources.
