Responding to Andhra Pradesh Labor minister Achchem Naidu’s allegations, GHMC officials have stated that they have rejected Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s application for permission to construct house as they have observed certain violations in the building plan and for constructing pillars without obtaining permission. They said that his application was returned to him on June 16th.

They rubbished the minister’s allegations, who said GHMC kept the application for 45 days and rejected it for not the technical reasons they are showing but for the non-payment of property tax by the AP government of Secretariat building. GHMC officials are stating that they are trying to recover Rs.20 crores property tax dues from the AP government. GHMC also issued a notification for this purpose in the newspapers on Thursday. But, the officials said that collecting property tax dues from AP government and the rejecting the Chandrababu Naidu’s application are two different things which can’t be linked.
