Foundation Stone laid for NCENA in Ananthapur

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has laid foundation stone for the National Customs, Excise and Narcotics Academy (NCENA) in Ananthapur today. Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Ashok Gajapati Raju, Venkaiah Naidu and Sujana Chowdary also attend this function. The NCENA will be constructed in an area of 500 acres. This is the first biggest institution setting-up in the district.
This function has helped the people of the state to know about various projects that will be granted to the state in the near future. Minister Venkaiah Naidu has explained in detail about many projects during his speech on this occasion. He said Railway Zone will be granted to the state very shortly. He said Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam airports will be upgraded to international airports. He said National Defense Training Centre will be set-up in Chittoor and Defense Factory in Kurnool district by the Centre very soon.
The Indian Colliery Institute in will be set-up in Tirupati with an investment of Rs. 100 crore. Foundation stone will be laid for it in the next month, said Venkaiah Naidu. He said a Tribal University in Vizianagaram district and the Central University in Ananthapur district will be set-up by the Centre in the near future. He said that the Centre is determined to complete the Polavaram project as early as possible and that is why it cleared the way for it in its very first cabinet meeting. He said the Centre is committed to implement all promises made to the state in the AP Reorganization Bill.
