ESL Narasimhan will be Governor for both T & Andhra

As part of the AP Reorganization Bill 2014 which under Clauses 7& 8, says that the Governor of the existing State of Andhra Pradesh shall be the Governor for both the successor States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for such period as may be determined by the President.
Mr E S L Marasimhan’s name has been proposed for this post unanimously and has received the assent from both the President’s and the Prime Minister’s offices, where Dr Manmohan Singh has signed on the dotted line for Mr E S L Narasimhan name to be the Governor for both the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana which will be separated as on June 2nd 2014.The official confirmation will be sent to the Raj Bhavan within one or two days.
Meanwhile May 25th has been set as a deadline for officials to complete all the formalities with regard to the bifurcation of the state and it is clear that there must be no spill-over of work after the due date.He is diligently working on the task of getting the bifurcation process completed as fast as possible so that the trial run for the new states’ administration can be done and identify any issues which might occur and have them solved before the bifurcation date of June 2nd 2014.
