Although, Digvijay Singh, when took charge of the state affairs has told that no fresh deadlines will be given by him on the Telangana issue, today he gave a fresh dead line of 10 days. Speaking to party seniors, he categorically told them that a decision will be announced within 10 days. He asked all the leaders to be prepared to obey the party decision come whatever it may be. In his brief meeting at Hyderabad, he asked the party leaders to make a team work to ensure victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

This statement was made while the Samaikyandhra leaders are preparing a draft to give him representation. Since, he is member of AICC and close to party high command, one can assume that Congress is going to make some announcement within 10 days.
