Chris Gayle to be banned from cricket!

The legendary West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle seems to have landed in thick soup. Gayle is often criticized to be immodest towards women. This time he has proved it before a TV during the Big Bash League (BBL). Big Bash League is a T-20 Cricket competition held in Australia. Gayle has been representing the ‘Melbourne Renegades’ team in the BBL. When a lady commentator named McLaughlin approached to interview Gayle, he crossed all the limits of courtesy. "I have come just to see your eyes for the first time" was the Gayle’s comment as McLaughlin went to him. As the interview proceeded Gayle dared to ask her out for a drink. "So hopefully we can win this game and we can have a drink after," were his exact words!
The flirting words of Gayle were taken seriously by his team. He was fined 7,000 US dollars on Tuesday and was asked to apologize for his comments. But that doesn’t seem to cool down the matter. Cricket legends like Ian Chappell were demanding a worldwide ban on Chris Gayle. “He's never to be contracted again in this country” was the suggestion of Ian Chappell and he wants every country to implement it. But Gayle seems to have taken things lightly. “It was just a cultural difference” was his response to the controversy. Now! One could certainly wonder – ‘What sort of culture he is talking about!’
