In a bid to absolve himself from the allegations levelled against him by YSR Congress Hon. President YS Vijayamma, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has also started his own investigation into the allegations. Naidu made efforts to gather information regarding the hotel in Singapore, which Vijayamma alleged it belonged to Babu. Naidu wants to prove that the hotel doesn't belong to him.
Accordingly, Chandrababu wrote a letter to the Singapore High Commissioner seeking details about the hotel mentioned by Vijayamma. The Singapore High Commissioner informed Naidu that the hotel belonged to someone from British Virginia Island (BVI). Vijayamma also alleged that Satyam Ramalinga Raju has funded his son Lokesh's education in the Stanford University. Naidu said "This allegation is also wrong. The US universities are not in such a situation to sell seats for money." He pointed out that his son worked in the World Bank, GE and also in the Singapore Prime Minister's office before joining the family business. Reiterating that Vijayamma's petition was baseless, Naidu said his party leaders filed a petition in the high court against Jagan with all documentary evidence.
Making counter-allegations that the Congress was behind Vijayamma filing the petition against him, Babu said, "The truth will come out very soon. I can only tell my opponents that I did no mistake in public life," Naidu averred. "My life is like an open book", he added. Now it is for the CBI to trace the real owners of the alleged hotel in Singapore and see that whether the persons from British Virginia Island (BVI) had any links with Naidu.
