Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu called minister D Nagender a 'street rowdy', during a debate in the ongoing budget session of the State Assembly on Tuesday. War of words continued between Chandrababu and Nagender for quite some time with each of them challenging the other.
During discussions, minister D Nagender addressing the chair said "We are not getting personal about anyone, Mr. Speaker. If that was the case, we would have made it difficult for them (Chandrababu and party) to walk freely in Hyderabad." For this Chandrababu Naidu retaliated fiercely and said addressing the chair, "We are too afraid of him (Danam Nagender), Mr. Speaker, because he's a 'street rowdy'. You can imagine what would be the fate of this state, if rowdies like him become ministers. Where is the safety for MLAs, when this kind of street rowdies dominate the city." Aiming at Nagender, Babu continued "We have seen thousands like you earlier. If we wish, we can make it difficult for you to step out of your house. We don't fear street rowdies like you."
