The 33rd Mahanadu meetings of Telugu Desham party has begun at Gandipeta today morning in a quite celebrative atmosphere because of TDP is returning to power in Andhra Pradesh state after a long interval of ten years. Senior and junior leaders from both Andhra and Telangana regions have come in large numbers to meeting today. All the MPs and MLAs, who won in the recent elections, have become special attraction in the meeting. Especially Balakrishna, who won from Hindupur, has become real star in the meeting. His brother Harikrishna also arrived for the meeting, but he couldn’t draw anyone’s attention because of his strained relations with party and its chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu in his address to party leaders and workers has explained about how he has strived hard all these years to strengthen the party by conducting Vasthunna Mee Kosam Padayatra and various programs similar to that. He attributed the victory to party leaders and workers. He reiterated that he is committed to implement all the elections promises made to people, including loan waiving etc.

He expressed full confidence that his government can overcome all the problems with its honest efforts. He said that he will effort to put the state back onto its track. He also reiterated that his government will build a new capital for AP that is on par with Singapore. He said there is a friendly government at Centre to back him in all his efforts.
