BJP has considerable strength in Telangana, but hardly make its presence felt in Andhra Pradesh. So, it appears to be planning to strengthen its base in AP also before next general elections. Modi gives key portfolios to M Venkaiah Naidu and Nirmala Sitaraman, who represents AP.
Venkaiah Naidu, is doing his best to create a good impression among the people on his party by giving firm assurances on behalf of his NDA government for all possible help and for the development of the state. He makes the people of state believe that his NDA government is going to bail out the state from its miserable situation. If his NDA government could implement all his promises made to people, obviously people also will be pleased with BJP, which until now is carrying communal party image on its shoulders.
Now BJP makes another wise move. It is planning to appoint Ram Madhav, a dedicated RSS leader from Amalapuram as its national General Secretary. He is a good speaker, scholar and has very good idea of the state political strengths and issues. BJP plans to elevate a person from AP into key position, is hinting that it is making careful moves to strengthen the party in the state as well as in the country.
