Kodandaram Bemoans Formation of Andhra Pradesh

"The formation of Andhra Pradesh is betrayal for us", bemoans Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) convenor prof. M Kodandaram. On 1 November 1956, the state of Andhra Pradesh was formed clubbing along the erstwhile Nizam state with Andhra and Rayalaseema regions and the professor terms it as the 'betrayal day'.
Talking to reporters after a meeting of the JAC, M Kodandaram said Telangana supporters would hoist black flags at various places on that day. The pro-Telangana public representatives of various parties, who have quit their posts, would sit on a fast, he said. The duration of the fast would be decided soon, he said. TRS and BJP public representatives are likely to sit on the fast, which leaders of other parties might also join.
The Telangana region Congress MPS, MLAs and MLCs earlier said that they are planning to boycott the state formation day celebrations, also terming it as 'betrayal day', so far they haven't confirmed it officially.
