Akbaruddin Owaisi health condition is improving, says the medical director of Care Hospital Dr, Ram Papa Rao. The health bulletin issued by the Care Hospital authorities stated that "all of Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi's vitals are stable and normal and Mr Owaisi does not require any organ support system. His dialysis requirement has also stopped and he is taking nutrition through the intravenous route." However, though recovering fast, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi is still in the surgical respiratory care unit. Sources said that he will be in the hospital for at least a week and doctors may not declare him out of danger for another day or two.

Meanwhile, the Central Crime Station sleuths made another arrest in the case.
Abdullah Yafai was arrested after he was discharged from the hospital. Another accused, Awad Yafai, has been taken off the ventilator and his condition is improving. The seven other accused involved in the attack were remanded to judicial custody and were shifted to the Charlapally jail. Police is also verifying the claims made by the accused that Mr Owaisi himself was carrying a weapon during the attack. The cops are checking the video footage.
