Sabita Indra Reddy Home minister has now said that the IAS officer Srilakshmi had mis led her on the OMC case. The minister who is now listed as the witness no-53 by the CBI says that the IAS officer had misled her in the allotment of the mining licenses to the OMC owned by former karntaka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy.
This is in total contradiction to the statement given by the IAS officer that she only did the bidding of the higher ups including the minister and others like KVP etc. The CBI had also recorded the statement of union mines secretary Anil Subramanyam tht he had issued the licenses on the recommendations of Srilaklshmi. It may be recalled that the CBI charge sheet had identified that AP government lost a sum of Rs. 5100 crore due to the OMC scandal and also that a sum of nearly 120 crore was invested in the Y S Jagan mohan reddy enterprises as a quid pro quo deal.
