Filmy tale of T note.
Updated : Sep 20, 2013
Price rise, inflation, law and order situation would be the main focus points in the coming elections. However, the saga of Telangana might turn out to be a real decisive issue when Andhra Pradesh is concerned.
While the common man in the state continues to suffer with paralyzed administration, political leaders seems to be busy cashing in on all opportunities with selfish agendas. Even after 52 days of CWC decision, Rayalseema and Coastal Andhra continues to be paralysed with innovative protests. Heated arguments, exchange of words, name calling seems to be the norm among leaders instead of finding a solution.
The tale of T-note seems to be taking filmy twists and turns. Highly placed sources close to CM camp reveal that there is nothing to worry. "We are not expecting anything to happen soon. The note is still under process. The entire process will take atleast a month, " sources say. The same has been voiced by Seemandhra MPs who have been lobbying in Delhi. After yet another round of meeting at war room MPs informed media that, "Digvijaya Singh assured us that cabinet note on Telangana will not be tabled until Antony Committee submits the report." Union home minister Shinde also was quick to react saying T note will not be placed in Cabinet meeting as he "has not read through it." However, home ministry sources inform that, Hyderabad is the bone of contention which is definitely giving sleep less nights to politicians.
It is a known fact that CM had made his stand clear by telling high command that there will be lot of problems if state is divided, Hyderabad being the biggest problem. Like each trouble has a solution, Congress is looking at possible solutions to please the common man and their legislators from the state. While 10 years common capital is still on cards, sources say that home ministry is likely to propose setting up of a counsel for Hyderabad.
While Telangana protagonists are crying foul, they have made their stand clear that nothing less than 10 districts with Hyderabad as capital is acceptable to them.
At this stage it clearly seems like too many cooks are spoiling the Biryani. Patience running out in common man who is out on streets might not be happy to enjoy the biryani!!
