The TRS party has finally got together to formulate the Party Manifesto. With bifurcation and establishment of Telangana as the sole agenda , the party Politburo leaders and the Party President K Chandrasekhar Rao met in the Telangana Bhavan today to discuss the major issues for preparing the Manifesto. A separate committee was formed under the stewardship of senior leader Kadiyam Srihari and the other members included Niranjan, Vinod Kumar, Madhusudanachari and former IAS officer Ramanachari. The detailed Manifesto will be made public within 10 days after a detailed discussion about each sector and what are the key areas of development Telangana is lacking.

The party leader had mentioned that it was time that Telangana went in for a total reconstruction and some of the issues discussed included, water to one Lakh acres for agriculture in every assembly constituency, free education from primary levels to the post graduation levels, extend the IT sector to other areas of Telangana on par with Hyderabad, raise the number of districts in Telangana and decentralise them, grant 125 Square yards land to the poor for construction of permanent houses.


All these areas would be dealt in detail and specific schemes would be formulated and canvassed by the TRS during the campaigns. With the elections in the Telangana happening on April 30th the TRS Manifesto committee will have to come up with something concrete quickly.
