We don’t want to repeat the mistake: AP AG

HYDERABAD: On Thursday, Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Durga Prasad Rao were told by Dammalapati Srivinas, the Advocate General that, they were looking for an agency that could convert the green fields in the capital region into modern metropolis, when Andhra Pradesh urged the high court to allow a world class agency to build Amaravati, which is going to be the capital of AP. They don’t want to repeat the mistakes that were committed by those who built Naya Raipur, Chandigarh, etc. that had remained mere administrative areas with no facilities that could attract and retain people, particularly from trade and commerce, the Advocate General added.
