Bread Bhurji Recipes

Ingredients

* 10 slices bread

* 1 cup yogurt – whipped

* ½ tea spoon cumin seeds

* 1 tea spoon green chili – finely chopped

* 8 to 10 curry leaves

* ½ tea spoon ginger paste

* Salt to taste

* 1 onion finely chopped

* ½ capsicum finely chopped

* 1 small tomato finely chopped

* 2 tea spoon oil

 

Preparation

* Remove sides of breads and roughly crush it by hand. Keep aside.

* In a big bowl mix yogurt, and salt and add little water if needed. Mix well.

* Add bread mixture to it and keep aside.

* Heat oil in a non stick pan and add cumin seeds to it, when it crackles add curry leaves, green chili paste and ginger paste to it.

* Add onion and fry for 2 minutes. Now add capsicum and again cook for 1 minute.

* Add bread mixture to it at slow flame. Mix well.

* Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till bread turns to light brown in colour.

* Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves and grated cheese.

* Hot and quick Bread bhurji is ready to serve.
