People who wish to visit Mysuru (Karnataka) seems to have got one more reason to push their aspiration. Mysuru is declared as the cleanliest city in India by the central government survey. In a cleanliness survey called Swachh Survekshan, the ministry of Urban development has announced its ranks for 73 cities across the country. According to the listing.. as Mysuru has retained its top position as it has been in 2014. Dhanbad stood at no.73 with no one to force it back further. Vizag is the only city from the Telugu states to grab a position in top 10. But there is some reason for Telangana to celebrate too! Besides its recognition for pollution and garbage... Hyderabad seems to have made an impact on the list makers. It moved from a previous position of 50 to 19th rank in the present list. And of course, like in the case of smart cities selection, Venkaiah Naidu might very well defend that this ranking is impartial. Evidence! Varanasi- the constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the top 10 list in the inverse position. Varanasi was placed at no.65 in the list!!!
