A proposal disclosed by the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra Shekar Rao to acquire land from Osmania University for housing project, triggered a sacthing criticism from the opposition parties as well as students.
Osmania University, spread across 1600 acres has been educating thousands of people every year. Taking everyone by surprise, Mr. Rao in his recent visit to a slum colony in parsigutta mooted his proposal to acquire 11 acres of land for the housing project.
