Telangana Congress Leaders to Meet Ghulam Nabi Azad

Telangana ministers in Delhi: Telangana Congress leaders will meet AICC leader Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi on Thursday to hold consultations with him on the contentious separate statehood issue.

Already some Telangana ministers who include home minister P Sabitha Reddy, V Sunitha Laxma Reddy, DK Aruna and P Sudershan Reddy left to Delhi on Wednesday evening to meet the Congress Central leaders.

Telangana Congress steering committee chairman and Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao, talking to newsmen here, asserted that their visit to Delhi was primarily meant to achieve Telangana state and there would not be any compromise on the issue. “There are no differences of opinion amongst us. We have decided to go to Delhi only after receiving an invitation from Azad who had given an explanation on his statement on Telangana made in Beijing. Core committee member Pranab Mukherjee is also keen to have an early solution to the issue,” he claimed.
