Malladi Vishnu files anticipatory bail petition

Vijayawada City Congress party president Malladi Vishnu, who was accused in the spurious liquor deaths case, has filed anticipatory bail petition in Vijayawada Metropolitan Court through his lawyer on Tuesday. The court accepts his petition and posted it for trail on December 18th.

Malladi Vishnu has been absconding from the police ever since his name was added in this case as 9th accused. Police search teams went to Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar on a tip off about his whereabouts but couldn’t trace him until now. However, he managed to file anticipatory bail petition in Vijayawada Metropolitan Court yesterday. His close relatives and family members who are holding license of Swarna Bar and Restaurant are also did not attend before the police for questioning despite summoned. Hence, police have served notices to them again.
