IT Minister reveals Babu Plans for development

 

AP state IT Minister P Raghunatha Reddy, who held a meeting with industrialists at Vizag on Tuesday, told them that his government is going to announce 17 industrial policies that will enable them to start their operations within a short period of 3months in the state. He also revealed several ambitious plans of his government.

 

He said that his government is planning to develop Vizag, Kakinada, Vijayawada-Guntur, Ananthapur and Tirupati areas as IT hubs by providing state of art infrastructure to the companies.

 

Explaining about ambitious goals, he said that the government is planning to develop the state as No.1 Silicon corridor in the country by year 2020. A minimum 5 per cent software exports of the total national exports. Attract $ 2 billion business to the state in IT sector. Making the state as the main source for quality and quantity for e-services. Spreading IT development to rural pockets of the state so as youth in villages also get full benefit of IT development. He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will hold a meeting CEOs of IT and other Industries very soon.
