Huge Gold mine found in AP

Well! All these days we have a feeling that Andhra Pradesh has suffered a huge loss of bifurcation of the state. Nothing has gone in the favour of the new state since four years. But now... here is a reason for the people in AP to have a broad smile. The Mines and Geology department has found a huge treasure in Chigargunta and Bisanatham areas of Chittoor district. The government officials have estimated that 1.83 metric tonnes of gold ore is present in the area and 9.4 tonnes of gold can be produced from the ore. The government might grab more than thousand crores by auctioning the ore. And that’s not the end of the news. The government is planning to revive defunct gold mines present in Anantapur district.
