TDP rebel elected as Prakasham ZPTC Chairman

YSR Congress party played smart to prevent TDP from winning Prakasham district ZPTC Chairman Post. TDP fields M Ravindra as its candidate for the post, but YCP did not field its candidate stating it don’t have enough members to vote its candidate. However, it played over smart by encouraging TDP rebel candidate Edara Haribabu to file nomination as independent candidate. Even then, TDP fails to sniff the fish in the basket. It kept trying to convince him to drop his idea but did not realize that YCP has pushed him forward.

When the election begins all the 27 members of YCP have raised their hands in support of E. Hari babu and he wins the elections with self-vote. He gets total 28 votes including his own and TDP candidate gets 27 only. Hence, Hari babu was declared as winner for Prakasham ZPTC Chairman Post. It was a big shock to TDP. Even the deputy chairman post also goes to YCP. Nukasani Balaji was elected for that post.
