In a letter addressed to Governor of A.P., TDP MLA’s requested him to continue investigations against Mr. Dharmana Prasada Rao and also to reject the decision of the cabinet using his discretionary powers so that people should have confidence in state administration. TDP MLA’s Mr. M. Narasimhulu, Mr. S.V. Veeraiah, Mr. T. Prakash Goud, Mr. G.V.S. Anjaineyulu signed the representation submitted to Governor. They pointed out that state cabinet rejected the plea of CBI for probe against Dharmana Prasada Rao which depicts the supremacy of the cabinet over the constitution. It is, therefore, necessary for the Governor to reject it and allow CBI to function according to Law. They pointed out that a former, minister, P. Devi Venkataramana is facing investigations and he is in jail. They told that the cabinet has taken an unconstitutional decision. They also referred the judgement of the Supreme Court.

Mr. Dharmana Prasada Rao had tendered his resignation when his name figured in the charge sheet filed by CBI. They requested the Governor to permit CBI to probe against him.
