Nithya Menon and Sundeep Kishan as the main leads, the movie 'Okka Ammayi Thappa' hit the theaters today. Rajasimha Thadinada the debutant has directed this movie. Here is the review of this movie Okka Ammayi Thappa:

Story Line:
Even though the name suggests the movie to be a full too romantic movie, it mainly portrays a plot of a group of terrorists. A group of terrorists led by Anwar(Ravi Kishan) aiming at the release of their boss Aslam(role played by Rahul Dev) plant a bomb on a busy flyover. The flyover is the one which is adjacent to the Hitech City in Hyderabad. Their plot was to demand the release of their boss by blackmailing the government that they would blast the bomb up.

Krishna( Sundeep Kishan) is a guy who is in the search of his childhood girlfriend named "Mango'. It happens so that, the hero and the heroine along with several hundreds of people get trapped in the traffic jam which is a part of the plot by the terrorists.

How is the story going to proceed further? Who is Krishna's childhood girlfriend? Will the terrorists succeed in their plan? To know the answers for all these questions, go watch in the theaters.

Roles and Performance:
Sundeep Kishan has played the role of a young guy named Krishna, who is an easy going guy. He is in search of his childhood girlfriend named Mango. He has justified his role in this movie and he seems to be apt in the role.

Nithya Menen, as usually has done a very good job. Despite her limited role, she has done justification for her role. The only thing she had to do throughout the movie was, to sit in the share auto.

Ali 's comedy is worth some laughs, while the other comedians failed to perform well. Venu Tillu, Fish Venkat, Saptagiri, and others had nothing much to do in the movie.

Technical Aspects:
The story is quite engaging, the screenplay spoils the feel, though. The main plot is interesting and well executed. The narration of the story keeps the viewers captivated. Music by Mickey J Meyer was one of the plus points in the movie. BGM was good and was in sync with the story narration.

Songs are visually good.  Chota K Naidu, as usually has done an excellent cinematography. The capture of the lens is rich. Editing is good. Promising production values.

Plus Points:
Sundeep Kishan's action
Cinematography
Interesting narration
Music by Mickey J Meyer.

Minus Points:
Screenplay
No strong love track(Child-hood)
Comedy execution fails.

Tone Review:
The terrorist plot, people getting struck on the fly-over etc. are well executed. Sundeep and Nithya make a good pair, but the story loses its sense where there is no deep love track in between the pair in the childhood. Once watchable as the plot is narrated well.

Tone Rating: 1/5
