Analysis :
Artist Performances :
Mohan Babu :
Mohan Babu played a very powerful role in the movie. One can get to see the raw ,rustic version of a typical 'Rayalaseema Bidda' in Mohan Babu. His character believes in killing the corrupt and those who betray the good people. His dialogues are well framed and rightly placed. This is definitely an Award winning performance by Mohan Babu who is a treat to watch in this film.
Vishnu Manchu :
No director would have ever showed Vishnu in such a simple yet realistic look. He is silent in the first half while he is just the opposite towards the interval block and in the second half, you will see Vishnu in a very intense role and this performance is sure to fetch him some critical acclaim.
Jayasudha :
Jayasudha plays Mohan Babu's wife in the movie and her role is actually significant. She is gorgeous and charming for her age and her confidence in carrying the role can be appreciated. Her emotions where she is caught between the two sons and the father is fantastic and she is the true Meryl Streep of the Telugu film industry.
Kishore :
He plays the role of Mohan Babu's elder son and Kishore's character is pivotal in the film. He carried his role to perfection and with ease. He justified the bad guy's role for sure like the elder son in The Mario Puzo's Godfather.
Tanikella Bharani :
This man is actually an attraction in the faction flick. His dialogues are mind blowing. He forayed his role just like a seasoned actor which he is.His satires are a highlight in the movie.
Shanvi :
The heroine of the film is seen in quite some places and her presence is not so significant. However, her beauty and confidence was seen in one melody. She is showed like an angel in this song, which is absolutely something out of the box for a movie like 'Rowdy'.
Technical Aspect :
Cinematography is purely experimental which is the typical Ram Gopal Varma style. Every frame was new. Mohan Babu's introduction scene is actually fantastic. Action sequences are close shots, making it intense to the core. The blood, weapons, anger and revenge
of an actor are balanced in the right way. RGV made sure that the cinematographer made the best use of his camera. In the meanwhile, Rayalaseema's essence was seen in every inch of the film.
Music :
There are only two songs that is significant in the movie and the melody is the only 5 minutes where we get to see some romance. Sai Karthik did an amazing job with the background music which adds life to the movie.
