Paneer Tikka Masala (Gravy)




Paneer                      - 400 gms

Onion                        - 2

Tomatoes                  - 2

Capsicum                  - 2

Ginger paste             - 2 tbsp

Garlic paste               - 2 tbsp

Green chillies            - 2 (finely chopped)

Kashmiri Mirch           - 1 tsp

Lemon juice               - 2 tsp

Curd                          - 2tbsp

Fresh Cream             - 2tbsp

Kasuri methi              - 1 tbsp

Coriander                  - finely chopped for garnishing

Salt to taste

Garam Masala/ Tikka masala as per taste


* Roast all the three main ingredient (Onion , Tomatoes and Capsicum) on a medium-high gas flame for a couple of minutes

* Now add ginger and garlic paste in it and green chillies and grind it into a fine paste

* Heat a pan and add some oil and butter to it

* Now add the ground fine paste

* Let it cook for 5-10 min, Then add garam masala or tikka masala, kashmiri mirch powder and salt to taste

* Add curd, then switch off the flame and add lemon juice

* Take curry in a bowl and to the same pan add butter, to this add paneer, and kasuri methi

* Once the paneer is cooked and gives out nice aroma, add it to the curry in the bowl

*Just before serving add fresh cream and coriander for garnish. Serve it with piping hot flavored rice or any roti of your choice.
