Egg less Chocolate Cake

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Dry :

Maida                - 1 1/2 cup

Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup (depending  on d company ..U can use more or less than this measure..if cadbury company little less... it is much concentrated)

sugar               - 1 cup

baking soda    - 1 tsp

baking powder - 1/2 tsp

instant coffee powder - 1/2 tsp

Wet:

white vinegar      - 1 tbsp

vanilla essence  - 2 tsp

butter or any vegetable oil - 1/4 cup

warm water- 1 cup (mix instant coffee powder into water)

You can take any measuring cup..I took a very small cup.. Whole Cashews r used only fr decoration purpose..

 

Method :
1) Pre heat oven to 180 c

2) Seive all dry ingredients into a bowl except sugar

3) In a mixie jar make a smooth powder of sugar..

4) Then add the dry mix  to sugar & run mixie for one minute

5) Heat Butter (don't burn) in either oven or stove.. mix all wet ingredients to butter well..

6) Now add this mixture to mixie and run fr 1 minute...make sure that all dry & wet ingredients  mixed well...without any lumps..

7) please note that don't run mixie more time..it hardens cake.

8)Grease the baking tray wd butter or oil and pour the batter 

9)Bake for 30-35 minutes or till done (oven temp may vary)..I baked in Samsung convection mode..it has a built in function for baking as Microwave & Convenction... opt for that feature and bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until a tooth prick comes out well..check in between if it is done..

9) Let it cool for 10 minutes (not under fan) then slowly transfer  into a plate by  making the baking bowl upside down...

 

Tip : If cake oven is not available... you can bake in cooker also.. Take an iron tawa or old dosa tawa..spread sand on it... keep it on high flame fr 10 minutes till its preheated...pour the batter in a small greased cooker and bake it  with out whistle on low flame till done..
