Cheese Cake

 

 

 

Ingredients

* 200grams cookies, choose plain ones.

* 1/2 melted Butter

* 480 grams of cream cheese

* 1/2 heavy cream.

* 1/2  granulated sugar

* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

* 2 lightly beaten eggs 

* 1 teaspoon corn starch

* 250 grams of Strawberries

* 1 tablespoon confectioner's Sugar for sauce

 

Steps to prepare

* Break the cookies , crush them until they are totally crumbled.

* Add melted butter to mixture and the mixture should be malleable when you hold it in your hands. This becomes the crust of the cake.

* Pour the cookie mixture into the cake pan, and press the mixture to downwards using the spoon.

*While pressing it down don't do it too hard doing that makes the crust become hard. Refrigerate the crust until it gets firm.

* Preheat the oven to 325 degrees C . Add the cream cheese to a bowl, then the heavy cream and whisk.
* Add eggs and whisk again and add sugar

* Add cornstarch and vanilla extract
Mix well using the whisk, until the filling is smooth and doesn't have any lumps.

* Pour the cream into the cake pan, on top of the cookie crust.

* Flatten the top of the cheesecake using a spatula. It's important that the filling is even  so that it can cook equally.  After you know it's baked let the cake rest for a while when the oven is turned off that will avoid cracks.

* Make strawberry puree and use it for decoration.

* Now let the cake rest in refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

* you can even decorate with slices of strawberries.
