YSRCP leader murdered in Ananthapur

YSR Congress party leader Bhumireddy Prasada Reddy was brutally murdered by some unidentified persons inside the Rapthadu Tahasildar office on Wednesday morning. YSRCP activists vandalized the Tahasildar office and staged a dharna in front of the office demanding for the arrest of the miscreants. They allege that a local TDP leader’s son is behind this murder.

Prasada Reddy’s brother Ananda Reddy alleges that Rapthadu police have ignored their pleas for providing police protection to Prasada Reddy, who was having life threat from his political rivals. District SP Rajashekhar Babu told the media that a case was booked and police will nab all the culprits within 24 hours. YSR Congress party official spokesperson Vasireddy Padma strongly condemned killing of her party leaders. She alleges that the state government is encouraging its leaders to eliminate their political rivals. She demands the government to immediately arrest all the persons involved in this brutal murder case.
