Some youth Congress leaders have made protests half-nakedly condemning suspension of 25 MPs of Congress party from the house by Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan. The 25 Congress MPs, including AICC President Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh also staged dharna near Gandhi statue in the parliament premises today for the same reasons.
The youth Congress workers half-naked protests gave a good chance to BJP to counter their protests. Union Minister for HRD Smrithi Irani strongly has criticized Congress party for doing such nonsense. She asked “Is it what Rahul Gandhi teaching to his youth in the party. Is this Congress party’s culture? Speaker is an honorable person and head of the house. Is it correct to make protests half-nakedly questioning her decision?”
Some opposition parties which until now are supporting Congress protests are also strongly condemned the youth Congress workers’ half-naked protests. Congress party that get some sympathy for its suspension for the house, now lost it with the youth Congress leaders’ over enthusiasm. Actually, the person behind them who encouraged them should be blamed and Smrithi Irani points out at Rahul Gandhi for it.
