YCP leader died in political clashes

Even while a hot debate is continuing in the state assembly over the alleged attacks and murders of YSR Congress party workers, Mallikarjun (42), a YCP worker in Ellutala village in Putluru mandal in Ananthapur was killed in political clashes yesterday. Hence, YCP may intensify its attack on the TDP government in the assembly today over this issue. YCP alleges that TDP workers brutally murdered him by beating him with iron rod.

YCP alleges that TDP workers brutally attacked its party workers Ramaiah, Shekar, Raju, Lakshmi Prasad and Kumar for they have played key role in the local body elections and helped YCP candidate Lakshmidevamma win the elections. However, police yet to identify the culprits.

Though, YSR Congress blames TDP for the attacks on its party workers, it can't be believed that the ruling party indulge in such criminal activities that will destabilize and tarnish the reputation of its own government. So, the state government should order for an inquiry into these mysterious attacks on YSR Congress party and find who is behind these attacks and what their intentions are.
