Will US revise its stand on Narendra Modi

Britain Prime Minister David Cameron, who came to India on a one-day visit speaking to media, said that he has no problems in meeting Gujarat CM Narendra Modi. He said that he would like to meet anyone for strengthening relations between the two countries. He said that his government has already in contact with Gujarat government for making agreements on business and with other proposals.

While, US is even reluctant to issue visa to Narendra Modi, Britain PM’s statement can be considered rolling a red carpet to him by European countries. Probably, David Cameron foresees Modi as the next Prime Minister of India, so is his statement. In such case, US also has to revise its stand and views on Modi, with whom it has to deal with for the next five years, otherwise it would be a bottle-neck in the bilateral relations between two countries.
