Why CBN chooses Delhi for his hunger strike

Chandrababu Naidu is going to sit for an indefinite hunger strike from Monday at New Delhi demanding justice to Seemandhra region. Soon after the cabinet approved the T-Note, Chandrababu has asked the Center to address all the issues first, before going ahead with its bifurcation plan. He appealed the Center to react on his request within 24 hours, but Congress reacting in its own style has condemned his and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s arguments. Digvijay said that they have consulted all the concerned before coming to this conclusion.

Hence, Chandrababu will be sitting for indefinite hunger strike at New Delhi on Monday onwards. He said the time has come to disclose the Congress intentions behind its decision of dividing the state. Hence he chooses New Delhi as platform for his hunger strike so that he could spread the message to entire nation on how the Congress party is playing foul game in the state.

He proved himself very wise by choosing New Delhi as platform for his hunger strike. With this he could easily draw the attention of all the national parties and the national media attention as well, which may help him to build pressure on the Center. It may also make the Seemandhra people realize that TDP is always there for them at their worse time.

At the same time, his hunger strike to protect the rights of Seemandhra may create a negative impression that he is opposing Telangana state formation. Already, his rivals especially TRS is trying to project his strike as anti-telangana-fight. TDP Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar rao has said there is nothing wrong in Chandrababu’s move as he is just demanding justice to Seemandhra region. He said he also would like to join his fight.
