Why did KCR remain silent then? asks Venkaiah Naidu

Parliamentary Affairs Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu has announced that the first sessions of 16th Loksabha will begin from June 4th. During first two days the newly elected MPs will take oath. They will elect the Loksabha speaker on June 6th. President of India Pranab Mukharji will address both houses on June 9th. Kamalnath will continue as protem Speaker, said Mr. Naidu.

Responding to the bandh call given by TRS protesting merging seven mandals of Telangana with Andhra Pradesh, he said “They have grandly celebrated when Telangana state was declared by UPA government. Then, they don’t find anything wrong with the project but now raising objections. If they have objections on the design, why didn’t they stop UPA governmentwhen they have serious objections on Polavaram design? Why didn’t they keep mum then and why are they conducting dharnas now. Our government has not brought any new ordinance, but implemented the previous government’s decision. However, our government will treat both Andhra and Telangana states equal,” said Venkaiah Naidu.
